MGC is a student group that seeks to empower individuals to promote the engagement and success of underrepresented communities in the sciences. By providing academic and personal support networks, resources for professional development, and student mentorship, we will embrace diversity, foster a unified community, and address the needs of underserved groups. MGC is comprised of graduate and postdoctoral students in the Biological, Physical, and Social Sciences Division at the University of Chicago.
Q: Do I have to be a minority to join MGC?
A: No. Anyone who supports the group’s mission is welcome, regardless of their own background.
Q: Do you have regular meetings? Can I attend?
